:: About the tour
Our first stop is the charming village of Tarbet on the west shores of Loch Lomond. Here you will have a chance to see Loch Lomond: the largest in land stretch of water in Great Britain. At 10.00am, we will go on a cruise (included in tickets)! We will sail from Tarbet Pier through Loch Lomond’s island jewels and explore the remote eastern shore and the dramatic views of the Arklet Waterfalls.
After 2.00pm, we will drop by Stirling, a city of splendour and nationhood. Thanks to its remarkable castle several wars of Independence were won and monarchs reigned there for 300 years. You may visit the castle (not included in tickets) and take a walk in peaceful Queen Anne Gardens or explore this vibrant city. Have a look at the William (Braveheart) Wallace Monument. Enjoy your day in one of Scottish independence landmarks.
